Founded in 1972 from the merger of two existing local philharmonics in Wilkes-Barre and Scranton, the NEPA Philharmonic (the Phil) creates transformative orchestral and artistic experiences that enrich well-being, inspire creativity, and strengthen the economic vitality of Northeastern Pennsylvania through concerts and community impact.

Today, Music Director Mélisse Brunet leads a robust orchestra of top professional musicians from NEPA and across the mid-Atlantic as they perform pops, classics, holidays, candlelit and 360° concerts, Savor the Sounds, and more, from Scranton to Wilkes-Barre, Honesdale to Tunkhannock, and Clarks Summit to Hazleton.
